HIFU treatment is really beneficial for everyone who desires tighter skin with uplifted cheekbones and perfectly enhanced jawline without having to go under the knife! It's also great to tighten skin on your body areas!
What are the benefits of HIFU?
How many treatments until I see the results? The number of sessions depends on the clients age and skin condition. One treatment is usually sufficient on light to moderate skin laxity. Typically, a single treatment is enough to achieve good results with HIFU. Most patients with early skin laxity only require one treatment to achieve noticeable results. However, some may benefit from more than one treatment depending on how much laxity they have and their body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and collagen-building process. We need to have realistic expectations that this procedure is not a surgery as there is a small chance that you won't see noticeable results from the outside after the first treatment, due to the gravity effect or your skin laxity level. In these instances, you will still be getting a fibroblast reaction for your skin collagen. This is very rare, with a very small number of global cases. Is HIFU painful? Pain intensity in HIFU is actually relative, depending on each individual. You may feel slight discomfort during the treatment of HIFU, which will feel like tiny electric pulses or a light prickly sensation on the skin, according to most of Pinsela Aesthetic’s clients. HIFU is typically not painful and the discomfort will fade in a few minutes. If you’re still afraid that it would be too painful of an experience for you, you may take acetaminophen (Tylenol) or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), such as ibuprofen (Advil), prior to treatment. Additionally, immediately after the treatment, some people may experience swelling on the targeted area, as well as mild redness. This will gradually decrease after a few hours or days. HIFU is the abbreviation for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, which is used to target several layers of the body’s tissue. How does it target several layers of the body’s tissue? The purpose of this HIFU treatment is for skin tightening and skin lifting, as well as body contouring by penetrating ultrasound energy into the skin. By undergoing this treatment, you will be able to tighten your skin, prevent it from sagging, enhance the appearance of your jawline and target the ‘V’ line formation, shrink pores and also reduce fat and wrinkles. HIFU treatment is a non-invasive beauty treatment that works by targeting the deep layers within the skin. As a result, it boosts new collagen production and regeneration right at the source of the targeted area. It is sometimes called the ‘Lunchtime Facelift’ since the treatment is fairly quick, tolerable, and has no downtime. How does HIFU work? HIFU uses ultrasound energy to target several layers of skin to create cellular damage by heating up the targeted skin tissue. The cellular damage caused by HIFU will force your cells to produce new collagen for the targeted skin layers and fat areas, leaving your skin healthier and tighter than before treatment. Generally, HIFU treatment is great since there is no downtime after the procedure and is is considered to be a safe treatment when delivered by a qualified practitioner. Click here for price list |
