The Procedure
Here at Pinsela Aesthetic we will choose skin care that is suitable for your skin. Every skin is special and different, we used wide range of skin care that is Professional grade, vegan and cruelty free such as: Dermalogica, Doctor Babor and many more. You will receive free consultation from the phones and the day of your treatments.

This is what will happens during treatments :
  • You will be asked to inform about any relevant changes in your medical history and of all the medications and skin care you’re used and taking
  • You will be asked to remove any metal jewellery from your body
  • Double cleanse the skin
  • Exfoliate using gentle microfoliant scrub
  • Ultrasonic exfoliation with steam
  • Manual extraction if you prefer with disposable gloves, disposable lancet, and sterile equipment
  • Application of numbing cream for 20-30 mins
  • Microneedling with pen using with sterile needles (nano or 12) (hyaluronic, peptide or EGF serum)
  • PDT LED lights therapy 5-10 mins with head and shoulder massage 
  • ​Free skin care

Before the treatments microneedling
  • Avoid the use of self tanning products for up to 48 hours, and avoid sun exposure 
  • Avoid Accutane in the six months prior to beginning your treatment sessions
  • Do not use topical agents that may increase the sensitivity of your skin such as retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics or acids(AHA, BHA or PHA)  5-7 days prior to your treatment
  • Do not take anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen, Motrin, or Advil for at least 3 days prior to your microneedling session. These will interfere with the natural inflammatory process that is critical for your skin rejuvenation
  • Avoid IPL/Laser procedures on your face, unprotected sun exposure, or sunburn for at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure
  • No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis to the area being treated for 5-7 days prior
  • Do not shave the day of the procedure to avoid skin irritation. If there’s dense hair present in the treatment area, shave the day before you arrive for your appointment
  • If you’re prone to cold sores, take an antiviral agent for 3 days prior to and the day of the treatment
  • Avoid blood thinning agents for one week prior, because bruising is a common side effect of micro needling
  • No antibiotics, we have to wait until you are finished with your medications

After care for microneedling treatments
Microneedling is great for your skin but after care is really important to achieve the optimal results of this treatments, that's why in Pinsela Aesthetic we will give you free after care product that you can use at home. (only available with glowing goddess microneedling treatments)
  • Don't wash the treated area for 1-2 days
  • After 1-2 days, treat the skin gently by washing it with a gentle cleanser, cool water, and using only your clean hands advisable with tissue to pat dry 
  • Don't exercise for 4-7 days
  • No hot showers and hot bath for 3-7 days
  • Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications for one week after the procedure
  • Do not use ice on your face, and avoid using arnica/bromelain. These may interfere with the natural inflammatory process that’s critical for your skin rejuvenation.
  • You can start using active, after your skin healed (no redness, no more peeling usually after 1 week)
  • No make up for 1 week, we advise to not wear make up at least for 2-3 weeks
  • No AHA, BHA, PHA, Retinol, Retinoids, or any physical exfoliants for 2-3 weeks
  • Avoid sun tanning and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks
  • After 1-2 days, always use sunblock (50 SPF or higher) and wear a hat and face mask if you’re outside
  • Use a painkiller, such as Tylenol, if you experience any soreness

 What to expect after microneedling treatments?
  • You will see redness, mild feeling of sunburned, skin feels tight sensations immediately after the treatments. This feeling will subside in couple of hours or days
  • Some people who have sensitive skin experience redness maximum 1-3 days
  • We advise to wait 1-2 days to wash your face
  • Only use moisturiser and sunscreen that are non comedogenic
  • Your skin might peel similar after sun burned peel in 3-7 days
  • After 7 days or after your skin look healed (no more redness and peeling) it's advisable to put serum that has ingredients of your concern for example ; ceramide, peptide, EGF, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C
  • Your skin will continue improved for the next 30 days, and absorbs skin care ingredients better. We advise you to not use any exfoliants or retinoids as it might ruined your skin barrier in this 30 days of healing​
