The Procedure Process
Before the procedure your eyebrows are carefully measured and designed to fit your face features. You will be asked by the artist not to thread, pluck or tint your eyebrows at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment.
On the day of your appointment Your bespoke eyebrow will be designed to perfectly complement your facial features. You are fully involved in the design process and the procedure will not commence until you are 100 per cent happy with the shape and pigment colour of your new brow. A topical anaesthetic cream is then applied to the eye area and left to work for 20 to 30 minutes. This is an essential part of the treatment, which ensures that you are comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure. Finally, we will introduce the pre-selected hypoallergic, vegan, cruelty free pigment by Tina Davies or Permablend into the upper layers of the dermis, filling the designed eyeliner frame with the selected semi-permanent makeup technique.
DO NOT expect your brows to heal perfectly after the first session. This can be a 2 step process. It takes time.
BE PATIENT during your 20-30 day healing process your brows will change and appear different from day to day. Immediately after your procedure, brows will appear darker and more defined and this will last up to 2-4 weeks .
Your brows can appear more solid, hair strokes may seem to disappear and it may look wet and painted on. Around days 4-5 you will experience flaking and your brows may look dry.
DO NOT PICK your brows, let any dryness fall off naturally. If flakes get picked off prematurely missing hair stokes will result and cause patchy brows which can lead to scarring.
Your brows will take up to 4 weeks to fully heal. When the flaking comes off the hair strokes may seem faint this is because a fresh layer of skin has healed over the brows.
Give your brows a few weeks and the hair strokes will become clearer. Color will continue to change on a daily basis until all healing is complete at the 4 week mark. You may experience itchiness in the brows after the 10 days for up to 4 weeks due to the healing process of the dermal layer. Not everyone hair stroke brows can heal clean and crisp. Hair strokes for oilier skin types tend to heal more solid and powdery while drier skin types tend to heal more crisp and defined. Also for those who bleed more may tend to need more touchups as the blood pushes the pigment out during the procedure.
This treatment is NOT for clients who are:
Pregnant or nursing
Diabetic
Undergoing chemotherapy (consult with your doctor)
Viral infections (diseases)
Had Botox within a 2 week period of appointment
Had an organ transplant
Epilepsy
Sick with a cold or flu-like virus
Used Accutane in the past 6 months
